Fring is a mobile application that lets users communicate with friends on popular networks over their mobile phone's internet connection. Fring recently made the decision to remove Skype functionality. They did this on their own and without consulting Skype.

Fring is not a Skype product and we have no way of controlling the functionality of applications created by Fring. For help and support on using Fring, please contact Fring directly.

The good news is that you don’t need Fring to use Skype on your mobile. You can:

• Download the Skype app on compatible mobile phones.
• Get a new handset with Skype built-in.
• Call from any phone and save on calls abroad with a Skype To Go number.
